AHRI 2013 Diversity Awards for inclusive workplaces are open for applications

The Australian Human Resources Institute’s (AHRI) Diversity Awards program acknowledges the growing focus on the importance of diversity in Australian organisations.
The AHRI Diversity Awards recognise the outstanding individuals and organisations that have demonstrated excellence in the contributions they have made to their business and the HR profession, specifically in the area of diversity.
Award categories include:
- Inclusive Workplace of the Year
- Sir Ken Robinson Award for Workforce Flexibility - NEW
- Age Diversity in the Workplace
- Cross Cultural Management
- Disability Employment
- Gender Equity in the Workplace
- Indigenous Employment
- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender & Intersex, Inclusion (LGBTI)
- AHRI R U OK?DAY Workplace Award
Preliminary registration closes on 15 February 2013. Completed submissions are due on 8 March 2013.
The selection process of the awards finalists is determined by a judging panel of independent HR and business leaders from Australian organisations. This means the awards finalists are selected through a thorough, rigorous, independent and transparent process.
Finalists will be announced in May, and the winners will be announced in June at the AHRI Diversity Awards luncheon. Winners will tell their story nationally through AHRI publications.
