Stepping into Law

The Australian Network on Disability offers Law students with disability the oppotunity to embark on paid work experience with its prestigious members including; 

  • Sparke Helmore
  • Freehills
  • Henry Davis York
  • ATO and
  • The Crown Solicitors Office.

The Stepping into Law program is a paid internship opportunity that assists penultimate and final year students to gain professional work experience in their chosen field.

Paid Internship Opportunity

  • This outstanding internship opportunity is for students with disability studying Law;
  • The opportunities are available in Sydney and Melbourne.
  • The internship will run for a minimum of four weeks in Winter and Summer 2012.

To be eligible for this internship opportunity students must:

  • be able to attend a briefing session held by AND;
  • be available to participate in an interview;
  • have a disability and have commenced the last or penultimate year of a Law degree at a recognised tertiary institution;
  • be able to commit to an internship program of four weeks in the summer university break; and
  • hold Australian citizenship.

Complete applications must be submitted with a cover letter, resume, academic transcript and relevant disability information before applications can be considered.
