The Australian Network on Disability (AND) provides online training for its member organisations through our highly informative webinars. Webinars are held quarterly, and each session will focus on a different aspect of welcoming people with disability as employees, customers and suppliers.

Next webinar: Disability Confident Recruitment

The Australian Network on Disability (AND) invites recruiters and human resources professionals involved in the recruitment process to participate in this free webinar on Tuesday 28 March 12:30-1:15 AEDT. This webinar is exclusively available to AND members.

In Australia, there are 2.1 million people with disability who are within working age (15-64 years). Unintended barriers in your recruitment processes may prevent you from accessing this large talent pool.

This webinar will provide an overview of our Disability Confident Recruiter (DCR) program. The program aims to build the skills of recruiters and HR professionals to help them confidently recruit from diverse groups, including people with disability.

To find out more about becoming a Disability Confident Recruiter, please visit the Disability Confident Recruiter page.

Join us to learn about:

  • The three steps of the DCR program
  • Recruiting from the entire talent pool by allowing skilled jobseekers with disability to compete on an equitable basis
  • Making adjustments to the recruitment process for candidates who have disability
  • Providing an excellent candidate experience for all candidates

To register, please contact admin@and.org.au and advise of any accessibility requirements by Tuesday 21 March, 2017.
