Wilma Stevens
Wilma joined AND in December 2009. Most of Wilma's career has been within Human Resources - she was the Commonwealth Bank's National Diversity
Manager before taking up an Executive role at the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency (EOWA). While at EOWA, Wilma built and managed constructive relationships with clients, providing strategic advice to key stakeholders around diversity and work/life issues. She was also responsible for the Employer of Choice for Women citations and Business Achievement Awards. Wilma then worked for a Global EAP provider as its Global Work/Life Product Manager before taking on another National Diversity Role at KPMG.
Wilma is a long time member of the NSW EEO Practitioners Association, regularly on the executive committee, and was actively involved with the National Diversity Think Tank. She is passionate and energetic around the issues of diversity, particularly in the disability and indigenous arenas.
Wilma has a Bachelor of Economics from Sydney University, majoring in Industrial Relations Advanced and Economics and was honoured to receive EOWA’s National Diversity Leader for The Advancement of Women award in 2002.
Wilma works with AND members to raise awareness and lift the bar around inclusion of people with disability.
