A response to COVID-19 that is inclusive of people with disability is essential to mitigate the negative effects of the crisis and ensure a sustainable recovery. The new International Labour Organization (ILO) brief identifies what needs to be done to make the socio-economic response inclusive of people with disability and addresses issues related to containment measures and the long-term recovery.

The international community guarantees the inclusion of people with disability through rights and development frameworks. These commitments need to be translated into meaningful inclusion in the response to this global crisis.
