Castle Personnel was established in Newcastle in 1991 by members of our community to support members within the community, with a belief that everyone should have the chance to reach their full potential. We are a not-for-profit, for-purpose organisation where all we do is disability support. We are specialists in building inclusive communities and workplaces because we believe that everybody deserves an opportunity to live a full and meaningful life. We now have over 170 staff in over 10 locations delivering Disability Employment and NDIS services.
Castle Personnel continues its proud tradition of support as one of the longest operating NDIS providers in the country after being chosen as a trial provider for the scheme and maintaining a highly sought-after local provider since that time. Castle’s NDIS program now supports more than 2000 locals to achieve independence and fulfilment in their lives through high support engagement with its participants.
Castle Personnel’s DES program is one of the largest DES Providers in the Newcastle and Hunter Region with a strong presence on the Central Coast. We are different because of our commitment to the belief that sustainable employment for an individual requires individualised one-on-one support. Castle’s DES program offers participants low caseloads, low staff turnover, high support and high-outcomes for participants. Today, Castle is proud to have helped more people with disabilities find work and live meaningful lives than any other organisation in the Hunter.
