Australian Network on Disability (AND) is thrilled to announce Kate Nash, OBE, as keynote speaker at this year’s annual national conference.

Kate is a disability rights champion and leading global authority in ‘Networkology’ – the science behind the growth of workplace networks and resource groups. Her book, Secrets & Big News, is the product of Kate’s ground-breaking study into the issues of ‘declaration’ and ‘disclosure’ in the workplace.

The Creator and CEO of PurpleSpace – the world’s first professional development hub for disabled employee networks – Kate’s work has enabled businesses on a global scale to improve their disability confidence by learning directly from people with disability.

In 2007 Kate was awarded an OBE for services to disabled people. In 2013 she was appointed Ambassador to Disability Rights UK.

Kate, who is based in the United Kingdom (UK), will join us on Tuesday 15 May for Australian Network on Disability (AND)’s 10th annual national conference in Sydney. The event connects business leaders and diversity practitioners from across private, public and for-purpose organisations to advance access and inclusion for people with disability. As a significant contributor in this space, Kate’s personal and professional insights are not to be missed.

The theme for this year’s conference is: Connecting Ideas, Shaping the Future.
