Australian creative agencies commit to employing people with disability

Creative Spirit is a fantastic example of a demand-driven disability employment program that aims to get every one of the 32,000 registered creative companies in Australia to commit to the work trial of a person with a disability.
From advertising agencies to architectural firms, film to fashion, theatre and dance companies to music and production studios, the program aims to make the creative community the largest employer of people with disability in Australia.
The inspiring Creative Spirit employment program is a business-led challenge to the creative sector following the positive experience of Droga 5 advertising agency, which employed Lloyd, a person with Down Syndrome. So far, 78 Australian creative agencies have committed to employing a person with disability, showing what’s possible when employers take the lead.
