Nina Meredith

Member Liaison Officer

Nina has extensive experience in recreation, community and employment services.

Her employment history began in teaching hospitals, establishing recreation programs for inpatient in rehabilitation and paediatric wards. She has also coordinated life skills programs for primary school age and adolescent participants with intellectual disability.

Nina worked in various Employment Services programs for not for profit and commercial organisations, building partnerships with Government, RTO and networks within the local community to leverage connections, share knowledge, best practices to achieve mutually beneficial business and social outcomes.

As a Project Coordinator for Australian Network on Disability Nina was involved in the High Growth Jobs and Talented Candidates project building capability for employment services to partner with large organisations to provide talent pool of candidates for a range of semi-skilled and skilled roles.

A lived experience of hearing impairment fuels Nina’s determination to work in roles that were traditionally perceived as unattainable.
