2017-18 Benchmark Report
Developing a workforce that reflects the diversity of the community is vital for leading businesses and organisations.
The latest figures show that there are more than four million Australians who experience disability and 35% of households include people with disability. Disability can happen to anyone at any time.
In 2017-18, twenty-eight members of the Australian Network on Disability (the Network) benchmarked their inclusion of people with disability as employees customers and stakeholders.
Using the the Network's Access and Inclusion Index (Index) these organisations gained insights into their strengths and maturity on their journey to be accessible and inclusive.
This year, we're excited to announce the top performers are:
- Federal Department of Human Services
- Australian Taxation Office
The Network warmly congratulates these three organisations on their result.
We also sincerely thank ANZ, the Federal Department of Human Services and Medibank for sharing their Good Practice case studies, that you can read in the Report.
