We have made every effort to ensure our National Conference is accessible to everyone.
If you have any questions, or require any additional adjustments in order to access the event, please contact us.
The venue is on one level with accessible bathrooms to the rear of the room. There is also an inbuilt hearing loop. While there is no accessible parking onsite, the Jones Bay Wharf car park, and The Star car park are nearby.
Thanks to our generous Accessibility Sponsor, Ai-Media, live captioning will be available for the entire plenary session. This can be accessed remotely via your personal device, as well as displayed on screens in the venue. A full transcript of the plenary session will be available on our website in the week preceding the conference.
All videos played at the conference will be captioned and audio described, with transcripts available before and after the conference upon request.
If you require accessible, digital versions of printed material available on the day (this includes plain English alternatives), please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. We will have these sent to you prior to the event. You will also be able to access these on our website and through the event app.
There will be a hearing loop available in the plenary, breakout, and networking drinks sessions.
Auslan interpreters will be present throughout the plenary, breakout, and networking drinks sessions.
