Josephine Julian is a graphic and web designer in the Corporate Engagement branch at the Department of Finance and a passionate advocate for people with disabilities and carers. She was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in 2017 and uses her experiences to help others. As the chair of the Ability Network, she uses her passion for advocacy to reduce stigma in the department by creating a community through monthly meetings, working with senior staff and hosting events. It’s time to be seen is the Ability Network’s theme for this year and Josephine connects with this strongly and hopes to continue the great work that previous chairs of the network have done before her.
