Relationship Manager (Melbourne)

Are you seeking a role where you can use your analysis, consulting and people skills to make a difference? We want to hear from you. We're looking for a Relationship Manager to join our Melbourne team.

About AND

The Australian Network on Disability (AND) is a for-purpose organisation that brings employers together to shape an Australia where people with disability are valued and organisations benefit from diverse workforces and customers.

AND has an affirmative action employment strategy for people with disability and makes adjustments to accommodate individuals in the recruitment and selection and employment process.

About the role

Here at AND, we have a small team of passionate, hard-working Relationship Managers (RM) who contribute to changing and improving the disability confidence of organisations in Australia. Our RMs consult with our member organisations, to guide them to attract and retain talented and skilled employees with disability and to tap into their entire customer base.

The role of an RM is a unique one – there is no other role like it in Australia. We are a world-leading member organisation seeking committed, creative and innovative professionals with experience building and managing relationships. The role requires the successful applicant to manage a number of AND's members – to guide and influence them to create change and have impact on the inclusion of people with disability.

This role requires a consultative approach, an ability to learn all that AND knows, and the ability to craft bespoke solutions for our members. Analysis skills are key to this role; analysing what our members do or need and providing accurate, relevant, global best practice recommendations. This role is extremely varied – no one day will be the same. You will, over time, have the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of projects, create learning content and solutions, deliver training and manage quarterly events. This is a unique opportunity for you to play to your strengths and develop new ones!

Key deliverables of the role

  • Assisting members to develop and achieve their diversity and inclusion goals as they relate to people with disability.
  • Undertake analysis and report back to members on practices, policies, procedures and action plans.
  • Design and deliver programs, training, educational and promotional events.
  • Deliver customised services, information and referrals to members in a time-effective and high-quality manner.
  • Develop and manage projects with multiple stakeholders.

AND has a lot to offer the right person for this busy role. Are you seeking a change and feel a ‘for-purpose’ organisation is for you? If so, we want to hear from you.
